TagShelf Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 3, 2026

App: TagShelf (package name: com.anode.luna)

Summary: TagShelf is a local photo and video organization app. After you grant permission, the app reads photos and videos on your device so you can browse, tag, filter, organize, and confirm deletion actions. Your photos, videos, tags, and organization records are stored on your device by default. TagShelf does not upload your photos or videos to our servers, and we do not sell your personal data.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how TagShelf handles information related to your use of the app. It applies to the TagShelf Android app and versions distributed through Google Play or other app distribution channels.

You can revoke or adjust photo and video access at any time in your device settings. If permissions are revoked, some browsing, tagging, and filtering features may no longer work properly.

4. Local Processing and Uploads

TagShelf's core organization features run locally on your device. The app does not actively upload your photos, videos, tag data, or saved filter conditions to servers operated by us. The current version does not integrate advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or crash reporting SDKs.

The app uses Google Play Billing to query and process in-app purchases. Purchase, payment method, order, and account-related information is handled by Google Play under Google's policies. TagShelf does not receive your full payment card number or payment credentials.

5. Storage Location and Retention

TagShelf stores organization records and app settings in a local database and local preferences on your device. This data is generally retained until you delete the relevant records in the app, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app.

If your device has Android or Google system backup or device transfer features enabled, local app data may be handled according to your system backup settings. You can manage backup and restore options in your device settings.

6. Your Controls and Data Deletion

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Except for the situations below, TagShelf does not share your photos, videos, or local organization records with third parties:

8. Children's Privacy

TagShelf is intended for a general audience and is not directed primarily at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us without guardian consent, please contact us using the method described below.

9. Data Security

We care about your privacy and data security. TagShelf keeps media and organization records local to your device wherever possible and relies on Android system permissions, app sandboxing, and storage protections. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Third-Party Services

TagShelf currently uses Google Play Billing for in-app purchase functionality. When you use purchase or restore purchase features, related processing may be governed by Google's privacy policy and terms of service. We recommend reviewing Google Play and Google Payments documentation for more information.

We may update this policy due to feature changes, legal requirements, or operational needs. When we update it, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice through the app or the app store listing.
